Sparrow’s Oak

This is a Greek Orthodox Summer Day Camp experience, however, all children are welcome regardless of their Christian denomination. We focus on the love and life of Christ through teaching the gospels, parables, and miracles. We specifically use the NIV Adventure Bible for our youth bible studies.

Summer Day Camp

Grades K through 5
CT location: Norwalk, Bridgeport, and Stamford (Dates vary by location).

Campers will enjoy fun sessions in sports, cooking, baking, arts & crafts, music, dance, and youth bible study each day. Entertainers and special events take place on-site.

Early Room: 8 am to 8:45 am Regular Hours: 8:45 am to 2:45 pm Late Room: 2:45 pm to 5:30 pm.

Counselor in Training Program

Goyans in Grades 7-10
Teens must be interviewed for placement and will be assigned to assist instructors in the art classroom, sports area, and kitchen for baking and cooking sessions. Counselors in Training are required to attend orientation and are still required to register. Community Service hours are awarded for being a counselor in training.

Teen Travel Day Trips

Grades 6 through 10

Teens can pick and choose which trips they would like to attend. These day trips are scheduled throughout the Connecticut and New York areas. They will be spending their day in fellowship at exciting theme parks and popular venues. They will also explore the love of Christ in the world around them with a youth bible study and discussion over lunch or upon return. Groups will be divided into Grades 6-8 and 9-10.

Hours of the trip will vary depending on the adventure scheduled. A typical drop-off will be between 8 am and 9 am.
